A popular hedge in Ireland, it is called Kapuka when it comes from New Zealand. An evergreen coastal hedge made of griselinia is quick, dense, and dependable. It is particularly well suited to clipping and can be kept exceedingly tidy when needed. Its delicate lime green foliage belies its resilience to the sea. It may thrive in a variety of soil types and can withstand some shade and moisture. Unsuitable for extremely chilly inland locations.

This Hedge forms a very attractive and dense hedge and creates a perfect backdrop for other plants. It establishes quickly and responds well to trimming.
